Some definitions from fandom

Full cast audio drama: An audio play from Big Finish in which four actors all have a speaking role.

Talking Book: An audio play from BBC Audio in which four actors all have a speaking role.

Companion Chronicle: A generally accepted, industry standard term for an audio play which features any narration at any point.

Doctor Who and The Pescatons: The WORST DOCTOR WHO STORY EVER. Also a Companion Chronicle style audio play. Only not as good, obviously.

Audio Soundscape: Something very noisy in the background.

Have watched The Long Game or New Earth recently? At least The Pescatons has Tom being Tom. A lot.

Ah sorry Stuart - I thought I was being sufficiently obvious in mildly pastiching the more silly posts from Gallifrey BAse regarding Hornet's Nest and how it's not proper audio like wot Big Finish do.

I like The Pescatons, promise ;)

Oh well good then.

I saw those. I think the problem has been the country mile between how the general media approached the story (Tom's back! Big Finish who?) and the fan/genre publications which did explain the reality.
